What cookies we use

Build A Tournament itself sets no tracking cookies. Three things on this site can store data in your browser:

The tournament tool — saves your tournaments to your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device and isn't a tracking cookie.
Google Analytics 4 — only after you click Accept on the cookie banner (see below).
Your consent choice — we remember whether you clicked Accept or Decline in local storage, so we don't ask again.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how pages are used in aggregate. GA4 operates under Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are not set until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are placed and no data is sent to Google. If you accept, GA4 measures page views, session length, and similar aggregate statistics — no personal information is stored.

Affiliate and retailer cookies

Some pages contain affiliate links to Amazon and CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) merchants. When you click one of these links and visit the retailer's site, that retailer may set their own tracking cookies on your device as part of their affiliate programme. How to opt out

Click Decline on the banner, or clear this site's data in your browser settings to reset your choice. You can also block cookies for this site entirely — the tournament tool still works.
